Yeon Soon is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Bryn Mawr College. She earned her PhD in Neuroscience from Princeton University, and was a postdoc at Yale University and Princeton University. Yeon Soon’s research centers on understanding how our brains make sense of complex experiences by inferring the underlying structure. She is particularly interested in how reliance on inference can introduce biases in human memory and decision-making in social contexts. She primarily uses computational modeling to investigate these phenomena.
